As the only Christian Fraternity on Georgia Tech's campus, Theta Xi presents a unique opportunity for Christian, college men. Joining Theta Xi means that you become a part of a brotherhood that emphasizes academic achievement, athletic success and improvement, strong social ties, and spiritual growth.
We share a common bond in our love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Beta Alpha men are Christian leaders both on and off the Georgia Tech campus. We serve through our philanthropic events, local ministries, and just our day-to-day relationships with other people. We strive to honor Christ in all that we do. Your brothers are always available to help you with advice, discipleship, and accountability to help you in your walk with Christ. Theta Xi will inevitably help you become a stronger Christian and a better man.
Theta Xi has historically maintained one of the highest GPA’s on campus among fraternities. Our average GPA has been in the top 10 on campus for the last 15 years. As a brother, you will learn how to structure your time and find the help you need to be successful. As a member of Theta Xi you will have access to our study room, study materials, tutoring by older brothers, and study groups. Our brothers represent every college at Georgia Tech and almost every major. You will find a solid academic support base no matter what path you choose to take.
The brothers of the Beta Alpha chapter are extremely active on campus and in the community. Brothers are involved in organizations across campus and many hold leadership positions. Some of the organizations that brothers are involved in include ROTC, Student Government, the Interfraternity Council, Consulting Club, One Voice Atlanta, International Justice Mission, Greek Village, Connect with Tech, Executive Round Table, Student Center Programs Council, and other professional and leadership focused societies and groups.
Our brothers are dedicated to serving Georgia Tech, Atlanta, and the world through service projects and mission trips to South Africa, Bosnia, Chile, and Nicaragua. As a national fraternity Theta Xi contributes to two philanthropies: National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Habitat for Humanity.
When it’s time to close the books and kick back a bit, Theta Xi does it right. We host a number of different social events including date nights, mixers, band parties, movie nights, dance parties, cookouts, a semiformal, beach weekend, football tailgates, and our annual Sweetheart Formal. Even if there’s not a planned event, there are always people hanging out on the porch or in the front yard.
Theta Xi presents a unique opportunity for Christian, college men. We strive to honor Christ in all that we do. Our fraternity is committed to each person’s spiritual development and growth as we learn to pursue God together in a college environment.
We believe that the fraternity atmosphere provides a unique opportunity to develop close friendships that cannot be found elsewhere. Theta Xi creates deep and lasting friendships among our 90+ brothers through brotherhood events and retreats that are held each semester. We host tailgates, Braves’ games, ski retreats, mountain weekends, beach weekends, and camping trips throughout the semester to welcome our newest brothers and to strengthen our bonds as a brotherhood. We also pride ourselves in the leaders that we foster. Meet some of them below!
